About me
Unexpected paths – a journey to growth
Sometimes life leads us to places we never imagined - places that challenge us, transform us, and ultimately enrich us. At 33, a breast cancer diagnosis turned my life, dreams, and plans upside down. What initially felt like an overwhelming physical and emotional challenge became a profound journey of personal growth.
I learned to embrace uncertainty and discovered the hidden potential that can arise even in our darkest hours. It eventually brought more vitality and awareness of what truly matters to me: deep connections with others, gratitude, the beauty of nature, and fully embracing life in the present moment.
The transformative power of mindfulness
Since my illness, I have felt a deep connection to Buddhist philosophy, which sees suffering and pain as natural parts of human life and offers profound wisdom and practical tools to work with them in a transformative way. The teachings of Vietnamese Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, along with the philosophies of Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, have a lasting impact on me and inspired me to become a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. These insights form a central part of my work with clients, helping them cultivate awareness, resilience, and a deeper sense of presence.
Nature and culture – a source for joy and vitality
I find joy, serenity, and gratitude through my meditation and yoga practice. Nature gives me new energy and inspiration, whether on a ski or high-altitude tour, trekking, or traveling to unfamiliar countries. I often step out of my comfort zone, which I find deeply enriching and it helps me continue growing. Every new experience broadens my horizons and allows me to get to know myself better.
My six-month journey through South America, my travels to India, Tadschikistan and Pakistan, as well as my two-year stay in London, showed me the value of courage and openness - toward myself and others - and brought great and enriching experiences.
«All life is relationship»
As the philosopher Martin Buber reminds us, our connections - to ourselves, to others, to nature, and to the universe - are what sustain, nourish, inspire, and fascinate us. This deep passion for connection is at the heart of my work, guiding people on their journey of transformation and personal growth
I look forward to connecting with you personally.
